Last Updated 3/30/2020 - Contamination Mitigation
Our current recommended protocol to follow should COVID-19 symptoms (Fever, Cough and Sore throat or Trouble Breathing) affect anyone working in office.
Steps to follow:- The individual reporting the symptoms should “Stay home” and contact a healthcare provider for additional evaluation. Then report back to us.
- Linked here is a CDC doc that can be provided to the individual.
- Find out when that person was last in the office and/or warehouse. We can run a KEYSCAN report to verify if we have any uncertainty. We can also use KEYSCAN to find our who else has been in the office that could have been exposed. It’s being reported that the virus may persist on surfaces for a few hours or up to several days.
- Close the office and/or warehouse and arrange for a full-office COVID-19 decontamination with Tom Trotta at:
- Phone: 949-345-5569
- Email: tom@spectrumbsa.com
- Notify the others we identified in "Step 2" of the potential situation and ask them to monitor their condition and report any unusual symptoms immediately. While we're waiting for the results in “Step 1” (or incubation period to expire), others that may have come in contact with the individual should continue to practice social distancing and minimize movement within the office. If the individual in "Step 1" turns out to be COVID-19 positive, it doesn't automatically mean everyone else who's been in the office needs to go into quarantine or has the Coronavirus.
- The individual reporting the symptoms should “Stay home” and contact a healthcare provider for additional evaluation. Then report back to us.
